Am I the only one that has noticed all the different Bible study materials targeting specific groups like singles, married, divorced, widows, divorced yet single and widowed with kids, empty nesters and so on. And Bibles that are specific. Bible for teens, for soldiers and so on. Do these Bibles leave out verses that don’t deal with said subjects?
Saw a request for this “Being Single and the Spiritual Quest (Growing in Christ Series)..” from LifeWay. So how does growing in Christ being single or married different? It’s not.
All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, 2 Timothy 3:16
Go give Titus a read and pay attention to chapter two.
It’s just a way for a company to make money in the name of Christ like the Roman Catholics selling indulgences. So save your church some money and can the LifeWay material and just teach the Bible book by book.
How did the church survive so long with out LifeWay and single classes….. Think about it.
LifeWay is a 501(c)(3) religious nonprofit organization that receives no funding from the denomination and reinvests income above operating expenses in mission work and other ministries around the world.

And granted my comparison to the RC selling indulgences was over kill, for a reason. However, they have employees, they get paid. I am not saying they are corrupt but they are human. There is alot more to this than my little blurb.
